Calendar of Topical Reward Meetings for 2017

  • 20th & 21st March 2017 - BOND Annual Conference

Birches Group not only hosted a stand at this year's BOND conference, but sponsored the theme 'Implement' which addressed issues including: managing your organisation in a Post Brexit context, developing your business strategy in this uncertain time, and making finances go further.  Interesting discussions were had in the breakouts on matters such as currency management with recent GBP depreciation, as well as funding sources shifting, all relevant to your organisational ability to attract and reward your employees as well as thinking differently about how you manage pay in this new setting.

  • 25th April 2017 - Project FAIR - Resource for London Centre, Holloway Road, London

Join the Project FAIR team for their discussion of findings on equity of pay and pay systems in the INGO and NGO sector. Birches Group has collaborated in this ongoing project, established by academics specialising in this field of study.  For many years we have seen the differing pay systems between local and international employees, and the difficulties in determining equitable packages whilst remaining competitive in the talent market.  This project aims to investigate these inequities and bring the sector together to discuss, exchange and possibly resolve them for the future as a community.

This annual European meeting allows an opportunity to discuss the highlights of the 2017 NGO Global Pay Survey, including trends in pay for key international and headquarter roles.  Should you not be a participant, join us in the afternoon for a more topical reward forum addressing expatriate and international contracted employee pay and benefits challenges.
