When we launched NGO Local Pay in 2010, we never expected to generate as much interest as we have today.  Starting with a base of surveys in just 20 countries, we reached 66 countries in 2012 and are on track to reach 89 countries by year-end.

In 2012, we worked with over 250 different NGOs and development organizations, over 1,000 country offices, and the data represents over 25,000 incumbents.  We have 28 Preferred Partners and expect to reach 35 by early 2014.

The infographic below summarizes these results and our estimates for the balance of 2013.

NGO Local Pay Growth

The great success of NGO Local Pay is due in particular to our focus on the broad development community.  By encouraging annual participation in all of your country office locations we are able to keep costs low and cover as many countries as possible.

While you may not be reviewing your compensation in detail every year, someone in the community is, and will be looking for your organization’s data to be included.  We want to provide the development community with a consistent and reliable data source; regular, annual participation is the best way to ensure this goal is achieved, and the survey data you need in a particular country is ready when you need it.

Thank you for your ongoing support of NGO Local Pay.  We look forward to continuing our work with you in the future.
